![]() So, in a weird way, I think it actually bonded all of us together, because we were really just in it together, we were quarantined together in New Mexico and were just on for this wild and crazy ride making this movie. Lydia Hearst: I signed before the pandemic, and then we actually started filming at the height of the pandemic. How did that impact the making of Slayers? Did you join the movie before the pandemic began? You were also working during the early stages of the pandemic. ![]() He's an amazing human and an incredible director, so I was really excited that we got to work together on this. Lydia Hearst: I mean, that was definitely the main thing that drew me to it, and I just love Asher. Was the movie's very different approach to vampires what primarily drew you to Slayers? It was such a fun and unique re-imagining of the classic vampire lore, I couldn't resist honestly, because it was just so much fun. Lydia Hearst: I think I was one of the first people to sign on to Slayers, and this was at least two and a half years ago in the before-times! Asher gave me the script, and I was blown away and fell in love with it. Screen Rant: How did you first become involved with Slayers?
